What’s That Smell? is set in a family home just before supper.  Each new spread introduces a different kind of smell and the responses of the
two main characters.

 

 

Features of the Book

  • The use of speech bubbles to expand upon the narrative.

  • Varied use of ellipses, signaling a pause in speech within speech bubbles but a change of focus when used in text sentences.
